The Callaway House System

At Callaway Middle School, every student belongs. Inspired by the nationally recognized Ron Clark Academy House System, our House System creates a culture of connection, leadership, service, and school pride. From the moment students walk through our doors, they are welcomed into one of four houses—Isibindi (Courage), Altruismo (Selflessness), Amistad (Friendship), and Rêveur (Dreamers)—where they become part of a supportive family that encourages them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Throughout the year, students earn house points by demonstrating positive character, academic excellence, leadership, and service to others. Friendly competitions, collaborative challenges, school-wide celebrations, and community service projects foster teamwork while creating a vibrant and inclusive school culture where every student is valued.

More than just a school initiative, the House System helps students build meaningful relationships, develop confidence, and embrace the values that prepare them for success both inside and outside the classroom. At Callaway Middle School, our houses don't just create school spirit—they create a family where every student is encouraged to lead, serve, dream, and thrive.
